May 16: RHP reinstated from 15-day injured list
Chargois, who had been sidelined since April 10 with a right oblique strain, will be another high-leverage option in the bullpen. He fills the open roster spot cleared when closer A.J. Puk landed on the IL on Sunday with left elbow nerve irritation.

May 16: CF placed on 10-day injured list; UTIL recalled from Triple-A Jacksonville
Chisholm will miss four to six weeks with turf toe (right big toe) after seeing a specialist on Monday for more information. Edwards could be a center-field option in his absence. He also provides a switch-hitting bat off the bench. More >>

CF (turf toe)
Expected return: Four to six weeks
Chisholm injured his right big toe on the cement block of the left-center-field wall at loanDepot park on May 13 trying to make an inning-ending catch. X-rays came back negative, and the club initially called it a right foot contusion. Chisholm saw specialist Dr. Robert Anderson on May 15 in North Carolina to get more information. More >>

Sánchez, who is resting and rehabbing, pulled up on his ninth-inning double on May 10 due to right hamstring discomfort, then aggravated the hamstring on a diving play in the first inning on May 13. RHP (right biceps tightness)

Cueto, who sprained his left ankle during his rehab start with Triple-A Jacksonville on May 6, is rehabbing in Jupiter, Fla., and is still in no-throw status. The veteran was running to cover first base and went to the ground when he reached the bag. Before exiting, Cueto allowed six runs and eight hits -- including four homers -- in 2 1/3 innings.

Cueto, who has been dealing with the biceps issue on and off since Spring Training, exited after just 30 pitches in his Marlins debut on April 3. He said the injury wasn't as bad as it felt during the spring, and an MRI revealed no structural damage. (Last updated: May 16)

García is expected to begin baseball activities in the next few days. After sitting out two games, he was placed on the 10-day IL on May 2 (retroactive to April 29). (Last updated: May 16)

Rogers is scheduled for a 25-pitch bullpen on either May 17 or May 18. He threw a 20-pitch session on May 13. After leaving Miami's April 19 game against the Giants in the middle of the fourth inning, Rogers was placed on the IL on April 21. (Last updated: May 16)

RHP (Hodgkin's lymphoma)

Enright pitched in his first back-to-back outings May 11-12 at Triple-A Jacksonville, going a combined 1 2/3 innings on 35 pitches. Enright, who was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma on Dec. 23, was placed on the 15-day IL to begin the season, and he was transferred to the 60-day IL on April 3. (Last updated: May 16)

Nance began a rehab assignment with Single-A Jupiter on May 12, tossing two scoreless innings with four strikeouts on 37 pitches. After not appearing in a Grapefruit League game this spring, he was placed on the 15-day IL on March 30 (retroactive to March 27) and moved to the 60-day IL on April 22. (Last updated: May 16)

Meyer, who was transferred to the 60-day IL in March in order to clear a spot on the 40-man roster for Yuli Gurriel, is throwing out to 105 feet. General manager Kim Ng said during Winter Meetings that Meyer would "hopefully [be] ready to go in 2024." Bender, who was placed on the 60-day injured list on March 15 in order to make space on the 40-man roster for Garrett Hampson, is throwing to 105 feet. At December's Winter Meetings, general manager Kim Ng said Bender will be on the injured list in 2023 and "hopefully ready to go in 2024."
